James Fisk

Born in Marlesford in 1889, son of Samuel and Louisa Fisk of Rose Cottage Marlesford.  Samuel was a gardener's labourer and later became a carpenter.  They later lived on Sandy Corner, Marlesford.

James married Daisy Alice Pratt of 1 Council Houses, Charsfield - Daisy was born between April and June 1889 in Farnham to parents George and Mary, died 14th April 1963 and in later life returned to Charsfield, living at 15 South View.

James and Daisy had at least one child with John (possibly John Harry) born between January and March 1910 (possibly 20th February 1910)

In 1911 James was living with his parents, wife and child in the same property in Marlesford and employed as an estate labourer.

James enlisted in Framlingham.

Private 2610, 9th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment).

Died 03/10/1916. Age 27.
